Essential oils are used for aromatherapy, they are a natural product that have been used over hundreds of years by many cultures. Essential oils can be used for cosmetic or medicinal purposes, never orally and usually diluted with a carrier oil. Whatever your reasons for using these oils you can be sure of one thing, they enter and leave the body cleanly and effectively without leaving toxins behind. This means essential oils are a good alternative remedy in many cases having no side effects if used correctly unlike many of today's pharmaceuticals.

The two most effective ways to use essential oils are by external application or inhalation. However they can also be used in cosmetic lotions, baths, compresses or as vaporising oils either in a candle diffuser or in a light bulb ring, or added to candles, stones and other items to produce an aroma that can de-stress, relax, calm, invigorate or heighten senses depending on the oil used.
